The WhisperIT® Series is an affordable line of diode and DPSS lasers in diode footprint featuring full-time low RMS noise with integrated TEC and laser driver in a compact ruggedized package.

The Whisper IT® free space laser modules are a fully functioning complete laser module system. The output beam and input power configuration is customizable to fit your application. The small footprint, low power consumption, and robust design enable a number of free space applications in the biomedical and industrial laser applications.

The Whisper IT® fiber coupled laser modules, based on the same platform as the free space devices, are a complete laser module system with a polarization maintaining fiber pigtail. The fiber termination is available in a variety of designs including FC/APC connector, collimator, or a fiber remote head. The fiber remote head provides exceptional power stability and performance by monitoring the output at the end of the fiber. Again, the same small footprint, low power consumption, and robust design of the free space laser enable a number of applications requiring the remote delivery of light.

The Whisper IT® WTB laser modules, also based on the same platform as the free space devices, are a complete laser module system with a transform-limited beam output. The WTB output beam quality is the highest available in the Whisper IT® product line. The beam is near-Gaussian with a M-squared of better than 1.1. The low power consumption and excellent beam quality of this package makes this the perfect gas laser tube replacement.

The CDRH Controller offered by PIC is a fully functional AC power supply for powering Whisper IT® laser module systems. The device is available for up to Class 3B type lasers. The CDRH compliant features included are key switch operation, laser "on" delay, laser enable switch, laser emission light, and a laser safety interlock. A fully functional power adjustment is available on board along with power and current output monitoring. There is also an available added feature for modulation control enabling the user to modulate Whisper IT® lasers with this option.

The Whisper IT® is available with a number of accessories to ease the integration of our fiber-coupled units into your system. We offer third party “snap-on” collimators for fiber terminations. For more precise collimation and accuracy, we have customer specific designs that can accommodate individual system requirements. These precision collimators are designed for volume manufacturing and to customer specifications. The highly integrated Fiber Remote Head is available and incorporates electronics and optical feedback for unparalleled precision and stability for the most demanding applications.
