sources, announces that it is expanding its WhisperIT® product line by adding the
WCP laser platform delivering outstanding beam quality in an ultra-compact
package and utilizing PIC's patented electronic stabilization technology. The WCP
lasers provide output power up to 200mW with wavelengths spanning the
spectrum–from the UV at 375 nm to the IR at 1500 nm. Featuring integrated
electronics and USB input/output and control, the compact WCP is the smallest
laser platform on the market offering all the performance needed for demanding
OEM applications. Offering the most compact and efficient high performance
operation in a single robust OEM package lowers the costs of ownership for high
volume OEM customers in markets as diverse as Confocal Microscopy,

Laser architecture based on laser diodes offers significantly increased lifetime,
reduced footprint, and improved efficiency (<2 W typical power usage) over ion or
diode-pumped solid-state (DPSS) technology. Using the most advanced
developments in diode laser technology coupled with its unique WhisperIT® noise
suppression technology, PIC lasers set the standard in the industry for low noise
