Opening of new facility in SuZhou, China

Pavilion Integration Corporation (PIC) announces the opening of its new
facility in SuZhou China, close to the City of Shanghai. While the company
will maintain a full manufacturing and design capability in San Jose
California, which will continue to be a center of new application and
technology development, the volume OEM production is moving to a state
of the art clean room facility in SuZhou. Unlike most laser companies that
have shifted much of their manufacturing to remote offshore subsidiaries
and contract manufacturers – exporting critical skills and technology; PIC
already has its roots in a Global strategic alliance of engineering and
technology development teams that work together to bring quality products
to market.
“We are planning to leverage the strong relationships we have in China,
Europe and the US to build a global presence. The SuZhou team will
certainly expand its role in the company over the next few years as the
market in China grows – but the primary applications development  will
continue to be in the US and Europe for some time yet” says PIC CEO
NingYi Luo. Having dual manufacturing sites offers a degree of supply
chain continuity – addressing the planning and risk mitigation practices
of many key OEM customers.
PIC continues to develop a full range of Diode based lasers with
wavelengths from 375nm to 1500nm in both free space and fiber coupled
architectures.Using the most advanced developments in diode laser
technology coupled with the WhisperIT® noise suppression technology,
PIC lasers set the standard in the industry for low noise instrumentation
lasers.
